Crib Quilts

Three quilts are patterned on crib quilts bought by Ruth for her three children at their births in 1968, 1971, and 1975. The Freedom Trail quilt was bought in 1968. It was made in Alabama by a Freedom Cooperative and part of the quest for Civil rights. The Bright Blocks quilt was handmade and bought in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. in 1971. The Animal Antics quilt was handmade and bought in Newtown, Pa., in 1978. Fine quality cotton fabrics and batting are used to make heirloom quilts lasting for generations.
